Sealed with Simplicity: Eloping at a New England City Hall
Sealed with Simplicity: Eloping at a New England City Hall
In a world where love stories are often written in grand ballrooms and sprawling estates, there's a quiet elegance and timeless charm found within the walls of City Halls. In Eastern Massachusetts, where history echoes through every cobblestone and the charm of old-world architecture meets the modern spirit, a City Hall Wedding or Elopement demonstrates how simple yet unique saying “I do” can be. For couples wishing for an intimate celebration that puts the focus squarely on their love, eloping at a City Hall has become an enchanting alternative.
We have compiled a list (in no particular order!) of some of our favorite places in the Boston Area for a City Hall Wedding or Elopement!
1 Newton City Hall
With its unique Colonial Revival Architecture, Newton City Hall is a beautiful place to tie the knot! Not only are their grounds gorgeous, but their staff is incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. If you are looking for a more intimate ceremony without the fuss of the City, we cannot recommend this location enough. Once you say “I do!” there is also a nearby park and Arboretum for some more photos! (Check “How to Plan Your Wedding at Newton City Hall” to read all about how to get married here!)
